We have extensive business litigation experience in the areas of banking, real estate, construction, contract, corporate, partnership, joint venture, and other commercial matters. Our objective is to achieve the client's goals in the most cost-effective way possible.
In most cases, the client's interests are best served by first trying to negotiate or mediate the dispute. If this does not resolve the matter, we may need to file suit and take aggressive action, including obtaining prejudgment relief in the form of attachment, preliminary injunctive relief or expedited discovery. The various alternatives are considered throughout the litigation process and the client is kept abreast of all developments in the litigation so that he, or she, can make the ultimate decision as to how to proceed.
If a matter does not settle early and proceeds through litigation, it may be in the client's best interest to mediate or arbitrate a matter, rather than proceed to trial. However, if trial is more appropriate, we are experienced and ready to work with the client to determine the best strategy and thoroughly prepare for trial. Please see our sample cases
page for a discussion of cases we have litigated to a successful resolution for our clients.
